A food store so great that it can only exist online
Picture yourself walking inside a food store. It has everything that you could possibly need but without the lines. Right inside the door you will find your own personal shopping cart, designed to fit your own needs. When done shopping, you´ll get all the heavy bags delivered right back to your door without any heavy lifting.
Offcourse this type of food store only exists online, its name is NetXtra and Smith International has once again been picked as a strategic partner when it comes to advertisement and communication. We started of with a new design at our website with an old favorite of ours called the Heavy advertisement-campaign.

Auctions with a new look
When the auction house Auktionshuset Metropol needed to modernize its brand, they turned to Smith in the spring of 2010. The current profile and website was basically unchanged since the successful enterprise first begun at Sveavägen/Odengatan, more than 10 years ago. The assignment included a comprehensive rework of the profile including a new name and new form to the website.
The result is a new graphic identity, based on the new name Metropol Auktioner, ads, and website.
Everyday is a fashionday
With more than 800 stores around the world, of which 90 are in Sweden, Vero Moda is a well-known and successful fashion company. No self-produced advertisements had been done in Sweden, but as the competition between the different chains heated up, the need for advertising grew. Smith was selected as the advertising partner in 2005.
The work started by focusing on strategy. All franchise owners, the Swedish marketing group and the people at the head office in Denmark were gathered together to examine the problem. In Sweden, the competition had increased markedly with new, fast-growing challengers. Vero Moda really needed to communicate their high level of fashion. The campaign that followed included launching a new customer club, a new website and films. Smith managed to put Vero Moda’s clothes on the fashion map, and the chain was revitalized in Sweden.

The decision to start a new fashion house was adopted in the summer of 2003 around a table at the Hotell de Paris in Monaco, on the Côte d’Azur. The location’s blend of elegance and ease, past and present was the source of inspiration. Since then, cousins Anders and Tobias Björkstedt have gradually launched and built up the new brand. The collection is characterized by the original source of the inspiration; the idea of achieving perfection, the good life and everything surrounding it.
Together with the founders, Smith helped create the Nikolaj d’Étoiles brand from the very start. We created the logo and graphic profile and are responsible for strategy and the brand platform.

As a market-leader in the manufacture of candy and throat lozenges in Scandinavia, Leaf owns a number of brands within various product lines. Smith was chosen as the communications partner when the agency opened its doors in 2001, and their cooperation has deepened ever since. The agency was responsible for the brands Bentasil, Läkerol Care and Mynton.
Over the years, we developed basic strategies, outdoor advertising campaigns for the Nordic region and a new packaging design. You can find the results of our work on the shelf by the check-out counter in most grocery stores. Allowing the relationship between the agency and the client to mature for several years, led to consistency in our work and gave us good insight into the realities of the food and retail business.
S.O.S Evolution
With roots in a group of wild, extreme skiers during the early 1980s in Sweden, S.O.S has expanded and achieved a presence across the entire globe. The company manufacturers colorful and durable ski clothing for demanding skiers, who are not just role models due to their skills on the ski hill, but also by their unquenchable thirst for freedom, passion and courage.
By taking an active part in the strategic work, Smith was the driving force behind the rejuvenation and renewal of S.O.S. A clear graphic profile and a new website was the first step.

Using the Holocaust as a starting point, this government agency has the task of making the concepts of tolerance, democracy and human rights more accessible to people today. By highlighting the darkest chapters of human history, hopefully we can influence the future.
Smith won the communications assignment through a public bid process and is currently working on the Play-a-Role project, Sweden and the Holocaust, and the Per Anger prize.
The agency organized award ceremonies, developed campaigns and established press strategies. In addition, we created action plans, new graphic identities and contributed to the on-going discussion on how to communicate difficult subjects.
Urbanista
Urbanista developed well-designed, functional bicycles for the modern city-dweller. The goal was for the company to take a holistic approach to those things that we need in an urban environment; sufficiently relaxed for our free time but sufficiently formal for our work time.
Smith was responsible for all communication regarding Urbanista, from the design projects in product development, to creating a graphic profile and marketing at all levels. The profile was listed by the Epica advertising competition as one of best graphic programs of 2005.
